Safe­way Chim­ney, one of the largest chim­ney com­pa­nies in the Chicagoland area, is hir­ing appren­tices! We are look­ing for pas­sion­ate, dri­ven peo­ple to join our grow­ing com­pa­ny. We have been Angie’s List award recip­i­ents includ­ing their Super Ser­vice Award. We have an A+ rat­ing with the BBB. 

Appren­tice­ships at Safe­way Chim­ney are a gate­way to a career as a Chim­ney Ser­vice Expert. You will learn skills need­ed to iden­ti­fy and com­plete full ser­vice chim­ney repairs includ­ing fire­place instal­la­tion and mason­ry chim­ney repair. You will be work­ing under some of the best-trained CSIA cer­ti­fied tech­ni­cians in the indus­try. Our appren­tices typ­i­cal­ly earn between $40k-50k in their first year, and once cer­ti­fied are able to earn a 6 fig­ure income. Requirements

• Punc­tu­al and professional 
• Will­ing to work from heights: lad­ders, roofs, scaf­fold­ing, etc. 
• Must pos­sess a valid driver’s license. 
• Must be able to legal­ly work in the Unit­ed States. 
• Must pro­vide their own trans­porta­tion to and from work. 
• Must be will­ing to sub­mit a pre-employ­ment back­ground check.

Compensation

Start­ing Pay: $20/​hr plus
